its july already! time passes soooo fast. just a random thought, haha.

basically i spent my 2 months holiday working working and working. but actually it was quite enjoyable, having the chance to grow closer to my colleagues and getting to know new ones who joined recently. =) shall not mention about the shit work we all have to endure sometimes though, and especially now due to h1n1. haa.

attended Nisa's wedding with colleagues this morning, after that was shopping time with beatrice. not a very long but still very fruitful trip, waha. i have way too many dresses now, and i still cant stop buying! work attire= jeans, and work takes up 2 or 3 days per week, meaning i dont even have enough days to wear dresses wahaha. crazy me. oh but my buy of the day is my havaianas! cheap cheap at 25 bucks =)

alright, slacking day tml before work+classes start again. hopefully work will be as good as friday.

oh and and, harry potter is coming again! cant wait to watch.

Taiwan trip day 2!

breakfast at cafe near hotel, then took metro to this temple 龙山寺.

shopping in ximending! lunch at this sushi place that can be found all over taipei, much cheaper compared to sg.

really cute dog we saw while shopping!after shopping, went back to hotel to put down all our buys...then proceed to airport to fetch huimei =)

yup and on the way to take the bus we passed by and so visited another temple 行天宫.

and finally we have the full strength!

shopping at wu fen pu at night. i really like that place coz its a wholesale centre, tons of clothes at cheap prices and u dont see repeated designs everywhere too!

now i have a itchy red face and rashes here and there.

maybe i scared the doc too, who couldnt really work out whats the cause of this allergy and thus prescribed me many many pills.
thank god the pills seems to be working!

im lucky to be taking only 2 modules this semester, just 1 module's assignment can be enough to drive me crazy! not to mention the other module which is worse lah. i hate numbers and numbers hate me =(

anyway, 1 individual assignment down, group assignment now. pray for my teammates n me!

Taiwan trip- Day 1!

so our trip started with only wen and me on the 1st day. our dear mei's passport was due to expire within this 6 months and so she had to rush to ICA to make a new one, thus she can only fly to Taiwan the next day =( . on the plane
on coach to hotel, btw it dropped us damn far away from our hotel, so we had to drag all our luggage and walk all the way there. i'll not take that coach again!

hotel was really nice, nice and clean toilet. =) forgot to take any pics of it though. it's called See You hotel. (er ok i know the name doesnt sound very impressive haha. its just a very small but cozy hotel)

so after putting everything down, we took the metro (sth like their mrt) to shilin 夜市! seriously it was a bit too crowded that night, lucky the weather was cool or i'll be sweating like mad. didnt buy much but since shilin nightmarket is famous for their snacks, of course must try!!

this year's 初一 was actually more fun than i've imagined. somehow this year feels a bit more like the childhood CNY days when we would play with fireworks and all, only this time round it's my cousins' kids who will be the ones playing and we the 'older' ones will be watching. wahaha.

hopefully this year will be smooth and 顺顺利利all the way!

1st day of school today. but actually it didnt really feel like school at all. just attended a 3hr lecture which was quite torturing to me since 1/4 of the time i cant catch what the lecturer is talking about, thus missing out on some notes and feeling ('_'lll) . really different from the rp days of not needing to take down notes but spending the time thinking about what to have for breaks n lunch in school instead. haha but since its only the 1st day, i certainly think things should get better =)

you know you are overstressed and overworked when:

ok, i've vented my frustrations.

had not been having much nightlife lately, so i joined wen and her poly pals for TGIF last fri. nice nice!

and the weekend before that was spent with huimei huiwen n edmund at kbox, followed by chilling out at boat quay.

so this week, i shall be a healthy girl. no late nights outside and no alcohol! ha. =)

im back to blog!

no idea why but i've been feeling so drained out from working...so everyday was just work home eat sleep, with the exception of some causal outings for dinner/movie/shopping after work and outings during wkends. but on the other hand it feels quite good to be occupied haha. =)

attended huimei's 21st bdae party last sat, had fun playing interesting games and catching up with sec sch pals. if i manage to get some photos will post them later on. =)

the next day, went k-ing with wen and edmund. after walking round and round under the hot sun, we finally ended up at chinatown's kbox haha. singing was fun and im looking forward to the day when huimei can join us too. dinner after that at favourite korean restaurant =) . have no pics of the delicious food to show but to me its really one of the best lah. try it out at fareast plaza level 1 or boat quay yourself. =)

alright this is the offical 'fresh new post' of my new blog =)
many many things to touch on so i have no idea where to start and thus the best solution was to keep procastinating til now. waha.

last week was my last week with shatec, co-workers brought me out for lunch on my last 2 days =) honestly im pretty lucky coz this working experience was generally a nice one =).

goodbye to dusty but trusty pc and stacks of papers waiting to be documented! haha.

anyway caught kungfu panda with beatrice last week too someday after work. a feel-good animation =)

andddd, a family outing to the turf club last friday. LOL. k my photography skills are bad, but if u look carefully u can actually spot the horses lah. =)

anyway the experience was quite fun, looking at the races and trying to guess which horse will come in first haha.

this week was suprisingly quite busy for the jobless me as i went from one interview to another interview all over the island, but no confirmed job offers yet. so my job title now should be: professional job interviewee. ha!

finally recieved letter from SIM, uni plans pushed. not happy about it but there's nothing much i can do to change this. so this means i can...

1) stay in shatec, which is quite unlikely though im currently quite happy there but i do have lengthy reasons to leave once contract ends.

2) start the job hunting process all over again and pray that i'll find a nice environment to work in.

3) slack! which is definately not an option, waha.

the thought of having to wear office clothes everyday and working office hours being stuck at my workdesk everyday for the rest of 2008 makes me feel a little sick, when my mind is actually set on studying 1st. argh. guess i'll just need time to get over it. =)

requested for 1 week break from tuition, but tutee's mom insist on him having tuition even though exams are over. argh! i bet tutee will scream the moment he see me later. he's sick of me and im basically sick of trying to humor the bad-tempered him. =(

work is ok,

boring tasks but co-workers are mostly friendly,

and free lunch + snacks here n there, waha.

but dragging myself out of bed every morning is a torture.

i want movie-ing!

in fact, have been working for 3 days already, but i'm having trouble staying awake at times as duties can become kind of boring, so i have to rely on music and thus 933 has become my best friend in the office, haha.

public holiday today= no work= super happy = long awaited outing with my gals. =)

back from taiwan =)

actually was back for around 4 days already lah, haha. just that i'm too lazy to blog.

trip was quite nice, most of it was sightseeing coz we went with a tour group, but quality time spent with family during the trip. if i have the chance i'll go there again on free n easy and go crazy shopping and crazy eating, especially at all the 夜市s!

i had a pretty nice week =)

mon and tues passed by in quite a blur,

wed was spent eating and eating, yes eating is one of my fav pastime so i have no complains.=)

met up with huiwen huimei and edmund on thurs, walked around town, had a nice japanese buffet dinner at boat quay, then to the singapore flyer . its quite worth the price, considering the nice view and all. went partyworld with wen and mei after that and sang til 5am =D . good friday was thus spent catching up on sleep and sat was shopping+eating.

absolutely slacky week, i'm bored out of my mind. nothing that keeps me occupied besides tuition, going out to spend $, looking for jobs that allow me to work for like just 1 or 2 weeks, eating, watching shows, sleeping. arghhhh!

family booked trip to taiwan already, setting off on march 29th. hopefully it'll be enjoyable.

actually i cant wait for the trip to be over, then i can get a more proper job and start getting busy. i miss my friends i miss school and most importantly i miss occupied days.

i've gotten myself out of the torturous-to-me job, but the process of getting out wasn't easy =( . so life goes back to doing basically nothing very significant everyday, haha. yup need to get another job soon and this time round i promise myself i'll choose carefully. =)

wen held her 21st bdae celebration on sunday at chervons, went with huimei and edmund. we got to see many of her primary sch, poly mates and work mates...and of coz, css ppl.yes we are all still young at heart ok! =)

on 19th feb itself, the gang met up again for our own mini celebration for wen at holland village, essential brews:smiley fries, cute =)

met up with my gals yesterday to have steamboat at mich's house, followed by touring around yishun in zg's car, then singing at partyworld all the way til 6am this morning. i hope we can meet up more more more often =)

had steamboat again just now with family coz its the 15th day of cny. i've been stuffing myself with food everyday since the end of my job. so dead.

yup and results were out yesterday. we have graduated from rp! =)

met the girls for lunch in sch, eric joined us for lunch too.

W6. our block for last semester of rp.frankly, i really do miss the rp days now, the ponning sessions, the canteen food, and even the fyp days! =)

xiangting is going to australia for further studies next week, and so we went for a farewell gathering on monday.

went to partyworld in the afternoon:

we went to try out mogu-mogu at fareast. the interesting thing was that you have to order and pay for your meal all through the machines in the shop. food was ok =)

saw these nice boots from topshop, selling at $20+ only!

wen won free tickets to watch 27dresses, so we went to watch it last tues. nice girly romantic comedy...my fav kind of movie. go watch it if you havent!
